Opened the first store at 19; four years later, eight franchise locations across Germany. My first big step into self-employment – and my most important lesson.

Metal straws as an Amazon brand – sounded simple, wasn't. Too little time, too little knowledge, too little capital. The experience: priceless.

Sneaker restoration as a service – still a great idea, if you ask me. We got far, then copycats appeared and my co-founder emigrated. Sometimes timing is everything.
